Daniel Martinez Davalos, age 48, of Edinburg, Texas, was healed and entered eternal rest on May 17, 2019 surrounded by his wife Annette and children Christian and Katherine. He was born on April 16, 1971 in Mexico City, Mexico to Jose R. Martinez and Elisa Davalos+. Danny was a loving, family-oriented husband, father, son (in-law), brother (in-law), uncle and friend. His biggest joy was spending time with family and friends. Danny loved being outdoors whether it was camping, fishing, hiking, golfing or in his own backyard barbecuing. His barbecue skills were top notch. He was always quick to help others, regardless of his own circumstances. The family is so grateful for the love, kindness, and generosity of so many friends and community members who supported them throughout Danny’s treatment. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The recital of the Holy Rosary will begin at 3:00 PM Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
