Clyde Cottrell, 79, of Rose Hill, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was born June 2, 1939 to the late Homer and Ella (Wilder) Cottrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Lester Cottrell, and by two sisters, Viola Bacon and Lilie Mae Collins. Clyde is survived by his wife, Leona Carroll Cottrell; two sisters, Vivian Fritts and Frances Saydjari; and by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the Toby Eldridge Family Cemetery in Rose Hill with Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating.
