Mrs. Cloe Lee Everett Owens, age 88, of Summerville, GA, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Owens was born June 28, 1930, in Kensington, GA, daughter of the late Gus Boyd Everett and Willie Mae Bailey Everett. She was a member of Pennville Alliance Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Mount Vernon Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Herman Owens; grandsons, Maurice Collette and Frankie Alan Owens; great-grandson, Jordan Reynolds; and daughter-in-law, Johnnie F. Owens. Mrs. Owens is survived by her sons, David Owens (Cheryl McClellan), Gordon Owens, Roger (Deborah) Owens, and Frankie Owens; a daughter, Brenda (Denny) Kell; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be held at 4:30 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2019, from the Pennville Alliance Church with Rev. Carlos Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in the Pennville Alliance Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Owens, Stacey Owens, Kevin Owens, Bradley Owens, Brian Collette, and Kerry Kell. Honorary pallbearers will be The Encouragers Sunday School Class of Pennville Alliance Church. Mrs. Owens will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 17, 2019. She was also be in state at Pennville Alliance Church on Saturday from 3:30 P.M. until the hour of service.
