Benson, NC: Mr. Christopher Ray Heath, age 78, of 1007 East Maplewood Street died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 24, 2019 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Smithfield, NC 27577. Officiating will be Rev. Kwam Kim. Burial will follow in Hills of Neuse in Smithfield, NC. Mr. Heath was born on July 29, 1940 in Jones County to the late Christopher Columbus and Annie Reynolds Heath. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Marshall Heath; several brothers and sisters. Mr. Heath was a retired service route technician for J.D. Music and member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Smithfield. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Steven and Tammy Heath of Newton Grove and Brian Kevin and April Heath of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Heather Heath and Sarah Heath; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Phyllis Heath of VA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 10:00AM – 11:30AM, Friday, at Asbury United Methodist Church prior to the service. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 215 East Caroline Drive, Smithfield, NC 27577, SECU Hospice House, P.O. Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577 and one’s favorite charity. Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
