Ohatchee – Funeral service for Mrs. Cheryl Lee Turner, 57, will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce Copeland will be officiating. Burial will follow the service in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening, from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Turner died on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Noland Hospital in Anniston. Survivors include her husband, Mike Turner of Ohatchee; her children, Michelle Turner and Tim Turner, both of Ohatchee; her mother, Claudette Richardson of Ohatchee; three grandchildren, Jacob, Easton and Weston Turner; one sister, Celia Dickerson of Ohatchee; one brother, Jerry (Dawn) Cofield of Odenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Turner was passionate about many things, but her main passion was her family. She enjoyed spending time with them in any capacity. Whether she was fishing with her brother and sister-in-law, attending baseball games for her children and grandchildren, going to Dollywood, playing Bingo with her mother, or just simply talking with her sister, Celia, Mrs. Turner absolutely cherished every memory she made with her precious family. They will continue to carry those memories in their hearts, knowing she will be deeply missed. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Cofield; her step-father, Charley Richardson; her daughter, Jennifer Turner; and her brother, Charles Cofield.
