Mrs. Cathy Maria Joyner Gordon, 68, of Heath Springs passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at CMC-Main. She was born June 11, 1950 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Cleatus W. Joyner and Emmie “Catherine” Catoe Joyner. Mrs. Gordon loved her husband, daughters and grandchildren very much. She retired after working 15 years at Walmart. Mrs. Gordon enjoyed working in her yard. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gordon will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the graveside at Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Gordon is survived by her husband, Johnny R. Gordon of Heath Springs; two daughters, Angie Bonilla and Jody Contreras both of Heath Springs; a sister, Christine Trull and her husband James of Heath Springs; and four grandchildren, Sydney, Mikayla, Hayley and Gabe; and two nephews Will and Heath Trull. The family will receive friends following the service and at the home of Johnny and Cathy at 5030 Flat Creek Road. Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Gordon.
