Carmella Johnston 2019

Carmella Johnston (nee: Olivieri), age 88, of Fair Lawn, on May 9th, 2019. Born on February 28th, 1931 in Waldwick, NJ, Carmella resided in Paterson until 1970 and lived in Fair Lawn for the past 49 years. She worked at CHCC as a Dietician and at Continental Cookies in Fair Lawn. She was a dedicated member of Warren Point Presbyterian Church in Fair Lawn and was a member of their Prayer Shawl Ministry. Loving mother to Donna and her spouse Kenny Frohnapfel, Lindsay, John and his spouse Joanna Johnston and Linda (predeceased). Grandmother to John Greco, Julianna and Justin Johnston and Great Grandmother to Ashley and Gino Greco. Loving sister to Anna and predeceased by three sisters and one brother. She will be sorely missed by her loyal companion, Sheldon baby and her Great Granddog, Roman. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Browning Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, NJ 07506. A Memorial Service will he held on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 at 11:00am at Warren Point Presbyterian Church, Broadway & 17th St., Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. A repast will follow in Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmella’s memory to Warren Point Presbyterian Church.
