Bridie Klopovich, 94, of Overland Park, Kansas formerly of Hopewell Twp. went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2019. She was born June 26, 1924 in Tullemore, Ireland. Bridie was preceded in death by her husband Nick Klopovich, 2012 and her daughter Carol Klopovich, 1976. At the time of her death Bridie was a member of Church of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Overland Park, KS. She was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Bridie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She was strong in her faith and devoted to God and the Blessed Mother. She was always the champion of the underdog. Bridie loved all things Irish, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and all birds and animals. Surviving Bridie are her two daughters: Patricia Klopovich, Overland Park, KS, Maureen Wilder, Friendswood, TX a son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Susan Klopovich, Cornersville, TN. Two grandchildren: Megan Wilder, Houston, TX and Nathan Wilder, Austin TX. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 am in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa 15001 724-375-0496 until departing prayers begin at 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church. Private interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Bridie’s memory to Our Lady of Fatima School.
