Obituary of Brian Matthew Focht Brian Matthew Focht, 29, of Skippack, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 24, 2019. Born September 14, 1989, in New London, CT, he was the son of Bruce M. and Kelly A. (Stanley) Focht of Skippack, PA. He was a 2007 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School and received an associate degree from Montgomery County Community College. He also took courses at Temple University in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Brian worked as a server at several local restaurants. He enjoyed attending concerts and comedy shows. He was a generous, sweet and funny young man. He loved time with his family and with the family dogs. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Erin Duffy and her husband, Joe, of Gilbertsville, PA, and Emily Focht of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, John Stanley of Skippack, PA; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Sandra Focht of Fairview Village, PA; nieces Evelyn and Elena Duffy; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, June M. Stanley, on May 22 of this year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 7 PM on Friday, June 7, 2019, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where family will receive friends from 6-6:45 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to “Our Primary Purpose”, 42 Cedar Court Royersford, Pennsylvania 19468. “Our Primary Purpose” is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals suffering from the disease of addiction with treatment and offers education and support to families and communities.
