Bobby W. Swancey, age 49, of Warrenville, S.C., son of Bobby Otis Swancey and Marie Ellen McKeon Romine, entered into eternal rest at his residence with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-parents, Mark Romine and Nancy Swancey; his sister Melissa (Rickey) Sikes; a brother, Joseph P. Swancey; a nephew, Taylor Sikes and his faithful caregiver, Barry Smith. He was born in Aiken, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a roofer by trade, having worked for Hixon Roofing. His hobbies include fishing and riding his souped-up fast moped. He was an avid animal lover. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 49 years that God granted him on this earth. Death is not the end, as his memories shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones. A Graveside service will be held at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S.C. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Hixon and Rev. Floyd Hutto officiating. Memorials, in his memory, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210 or to the Funeral Home to assist with the expense of the funeral.
