Brian K. Sherwood, age 56, went to be with his Lord on May 3, 2019 in Grand Rapids after a short, courageous battle with AML. He was born on April 3, 1963 to Ken and Norma (Post) Sherwood in Muskegon. Brian was a member of Covenant Life Church. He was Vice-President of Sales for Michigan Spring and Stamping. Brian’s joy in life was spending time with family and friends. He loved traveling, cycling, hunting, and mentoring others. On April 28, 1990 he married Marlies Palmer and she survives him along with 2 children, Brad and Miranda; mother, Norma Sherwood; brother, Wayne (Teri) Sherwood and sister, Sandra (Bob) Elmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Sherwood. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Covenant Life Church, (101 Columbus Ave, Grand Haven) with Pastors Bob DeVries & Marshall Holtvluwer officiating. VISITATION with the family will take place 5-8 PM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. MEMORIALS can be directed to Arthritis Foundation.
