Funeral services for Betty Sue Tidwell, 74 of Corinth are set for Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Kendrick Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 10:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born July 11, 1944 in Brownfield, MS., Betty passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at her home in Michie, TN. She was a homemaker, who was of the Baptist faith and a member of Kendrick Baptist Church. Betty is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bruce Tidwell of Michie; sons, Eddie Porterfield of Corinth; Jimmy Dale Porterfield of Natchez, MS; daughter, Deborah Prince of Jackson, MS; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers; Mike Brock of Memphis, TN ; David Peacher of Corinth and Greg Peacher of Glen; sisters, Nancy Duncan of Paducah, Kentucky and Lynn Bowen of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her sons, Billy Keith Porterfield and Ronnie Russell Porterfield; father, Ellie Hugh Brock; mother, Bernice Howard; brother, Harold Brock and sisters: Sherry White and Donna Pittman. Pallbearers will be The Kendrick Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class. Pastor Zack Howell will officiate the service.
