Betty Jane Crawford, 90, of Vidor, passed away on May 25, 2019, in Vidor. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2019, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont. Born in High Island, Texas, on February 14, 1929, she was the daughter of Archie Harrington and Ollie Rae (Carr) Harrington. Betty loved to cook, feeding the birds, and planting flowers. She enjoyed perch fishing (as long as someone hooked the worms for her), watching a soap opera or two and wasting away time at Walmart. Betty was a loving mother and a nurturing grandmother and will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Crawford; parents, Archie and Ollie Harrington; and sisters, Archie Rae McCullar, and Mildred Mitchell. She is survived by her children, Dennis Crawford, and Charlene Grass and husband John Sr., all of Vidor; grandchildren, Kimberly Reeder, and John Grass, Jr. and wife Janell Grass; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Grass, Trey Reeder, and Kera Reeder.
