He was born, April 5, 1939 in Bruce to the late parents of Raybon Zinn and Vivian Bennett Zinn. He was a graduate of Lee High School, Columbus Class of 1957 and a graduate of Mississippi State University. Bennett was in industrial sales and had previously worked for Buick Motor Car Division as a car distributor. He was an avid sports fan and a follower of Mississippi State and Ole Miss sports . He had a passion for crappie fishing, deep sea fishing, deer, duck and quail hunting. Bennett was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Oxford. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Michael Lee Zinn. He is survived by his loving and dedicated family, wife, Connie Brand Zinn, Oxford; son, Bennett Earl Zinn, Jefferson, GA; grandchildren, Brandon Michael Zinn, Leah Nicole Zinn, Abigail Elizabeth Zinn all of Atlanta, GA and Madison Hope Zinn, Hannah Lian Zinn and Raybon Zinn all of Athens, GA; and a daughter-in-law, Cathie Zinn, Athens, GA. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce. Reverend Ann Houston Kelly will be officiating.
