Barbara’s Obituary LOVELL, Barbara L. – of Davison, age 83, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 S. Genesee Rd., Burton, Pastor Larry Warsinski officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 5-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Barbara was born in White Cloud, MI on June 17, 1935, daughter of the late Harvey and Mattie (Yoder) Schmucker. She was the Valedictorian of her 1953 graduating class at White Cloud High School. Barbara married Clayton Lovell on August 22, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2011. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Barbara was an organist for many years. She enjoyed knitting and will be remembered with each piece she created. Barbara is survived by her children, David (Maureen) Lovell of Ft. Myers, FL, Gregg (Barbara) Lovell of Lake Orion, MI, Jane (Rick) Schmaltz of Davison, MI, Ryan Lovell of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Brett, Justin, Eric, Brad, Megan, Haleigh, Matthew, Riley; sisters-in-law, Colleen Stroven, Connie Lovell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton; sister, Kathryn Frantz. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brookdale Senior Living for their care of Barbara. Read More
