Barbara “Barb” L. Burg, 74, of Watertown was welcomed into heaven Sunday May 5th 2019. Beloved daughter of John and Dorothy (Burg) Murphy born October 19, 1944 in Milwaukee. Barb graduated from Riverside High School In Milwaukee. Barbs’ former jobs include the Milwaukee Post Office, bartending, Walgreens, and Walmart where she retired from after eight years of employment. A sweet soul with a wonderful sense of humor, Barb enjoyed gambling, bingo, puzzles, crosswords and playing cards. In her younger days she also enjoyed being on Pool and Bowling Leagues. Barb was an Elvis fan and a lover of all animals especially cats. Barb looked forward to her nightly 10:20 pm phone calls from her beloved friend Gail Preinfalk. Barb was a loving mother to her daughter Deanna and her cat Astro, and will be greatly missed by both. Barb is survived by her daughter Deanna Burg Conroy (Steven Fiege), brother Dean (Susan) Murphy, sister-in-law Aurie (the late Patrick) Murphy, and other relatives and friends. Barb was preceded in death by her brother Patrick Murphy, special friend Ronald Grassold, her parents and grandparents. A special thank you to all the wonderful people at WRMC and Marquardt Memorial Manor that helped take care of Barbara.
