Arthur Hazeman Sr October 4 1936 May 29 2019 (age 82)

Arthur M. Hazeman, Sr., age 82 of Red Wing and formerly of Hager City, WI and Cannon Falls, died on May 29, 2019 at St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing. Art was born on October 4, 1936 in Medford, WI, the son of John E. and Mary Jane (VanHouten) Hazeman. He attended school in Gillman, WI, and he married Harriet C. Partlow on January 2, 1960 in Vadnais Heights. They moved to Cannon Falls in 1963 where they farmed. He worked as a meat cutter at Armour’s in South St. Paul from 1958-1969. He then worked as an iron cutter for Alters Scrap Yard until 1974. He was self-employed thereafter. He is survived by his children, Gloria Hazeman (Bill Solomonson) of New Ulm, Art Jr. (Renae) of Red Wing, and Violet Hazeman (Dennis Melsness) of Red Wing; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Luella Partlow of St. Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Harriet on March 30, 2009; son, John Emil Hazeman; daughter, Mary Jane Hazeman; and siblings, Robert, Eugene, Lena Partlow, Irene Fosdal, Hazel Lynn, Dorothy Kurth, Mildred Piasecki, and an infant sister. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 a.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lance Hazeman, Justin Hazeman, Shaun Hazeman, Alex Miller, Ryan Hazeman, and Jerod Getzie. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
