Anna’s Obituary Anna Lorene Middleton Turner, 94, of Tremont went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital. Born March 29, 1925, in Letcher County, she was retired from the housekeeping department at the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital. She enjoyed crafts such as scrap booking, quilting and embroidery. She was also a faithful member of the Pine Flat Baptist Church. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Berry Middleton and Ollie Noe Middleton; two brothers, Arthur Lee Middleton and Claude Eugene Middleton; and two sisters, Reba June Wilson and Marguerite Etta Middleton. Survivors include three children, Daniel Lee Stines, Jr. and wife, Priscilla, Loyall; Shirley Clark and husband, Tommy, Keith; and Susan Witt, Tremont; one brother, Bobby Clark Middleton and wife, Shirley, Sun City, FL; five grandchildren, Billy O’Neil Witt, III (Stacy); Leesa Jo Rania Williams (David); William Todd Clark (Erin); Christopher Lee Clark (Kimberly); and Rebecca Ann McQueen (Clint); seven great-grandchildren, Keila Martinez, Cassie Lorene Witt, Josie Lee Williams, Taylor Rose Clark, Gavin Taylor McQueen, Gunnar Kent Williams and Dylan Jade McQueen; and a very special dog Twiggy. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with a memorial service starting at 6 p.m. Frank and Lori Shope will officiate. Burial will be in the Middleton-Dingus Cemetery on Lay Hill at Tremont. Loyall Funeral Home is in charge of her arrangements. Read More
