Alice Ruth Jones, age 96, of Preston, died on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Lillian Carter Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Jones was born March 2, 1923 in Webster County Georgia, the daughter of the late Henry and Pearl Sapp. Mrs. Jones was a retired insurance agent with Farm Bureau, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
