She was born on January 21, 1934 in Fredericksburg Texas to Armand and Paulina (Behrens) Crenwelge. Adeline was married to Homer Durst and they had one child Doris (Durst) Disler. They were married until his death. She remarried Stanton Smith and was recently widowed again. Adeline (Addy) enjoyed many things in her life including bowling, gardening, and needlework. She also played 42 and Bunco in the past few years. Adeline loved Cardinals and Hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand & Paulina Crenwelge, along with her two brothers, Milton and Lorence Crenwelge. She is survived by her daughter, Doris (Durst) Disler & husband, David; granddaughter, Shauna (Disler) Worsham & her husband, Jayme along with their children, Emma, Kerena and Jesse; granddaughter, Lauren (Disler) Brabec & husband, George. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Gloria Crenwelge and her children, Cheryl and Linda, and sister-in-law, Jeanne Bel Crenwelge and her children, Robert and Douglas, as well as, many loving cousins. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, 2951 TX-46, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. Donations in Adeline’s honor may be made to: The American Cancer Society.
