On February 10,2019, Jackson Levi Turcott passed away in Deadwood, SD in an unfortunate accident, enjoying what he and his father loved to do; snowmobiling.

Jackson was born on August 15, 2012 in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. The moment Jackson came into his father, Cassius's life he knew he was his pride and joy. When a child departs this world, we feel deep sorrow, we weep, we laugh, we share stories and remember the amazing boy whom we will miss forever. Jackson's legacy is that he was the most joyful and caring boy anyone could imagine. He was such a happy kid and would make everyone around him laugh and smile.

Jackson was very active and loved doing all kinds of activities no matter what it was. Everything he did he would always have a big smile on his face. His favorite show was Transformers and he would spend hours pretending to be a transformer.

The bond between Jackson and his father was immeasurable, living a life of adventure, whether it be road trips, fishing or swimming; they did everything together. He loved jamming out to music, playing air guitar and having dance battles with his dad that somehow he would always win.

This world lost a great soul when he passed. He is survived by his dad, Cassius and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jackson was preceded in death by his grandfather.

A funeral service will be held for Jackson on Saturday June 8, 2019 at 12 noon at J.L. DeCook Gymnasium in Newberry with Pastor Jim Duflo officiating.  Interment will follow at East Lakefield Township Cemetery.
