Matthew Wayne Maddox, 58, of Anderson, passed away on April 21, 2019 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 15, 1960 in Anderson. He served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing guitar and bluegrass music, fishing, and singing karaoke. Matthew is survived by his children, Thomas Maddox, Kimberly (Cody) Pearson; siblings, Carol (Scott) King, Denise (Dave) Calandrelli, Terri Maddox, Ronny Maddox, Tracy (Doug) Hight; grandchildren, Destiny McGuire, Aiden Pearson; and his girlfriend, Vicki Smith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gay Hazelbaker; father, Dorsey Maddox; brothers, Tom Maddox, and Jeff Maddox. Per Matthew’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
