WILLIAM’s Obituary WILLIAM “PEANUT” SHETTERS, age 49, of Sherwood, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Shetters was born in Winchester, Tenn., to Anna Sue Short Shetters and the later Willie “Shorty” Shetters. Mr. Shetters was a member of the Epiphany Mission Episcopal Church in Sherwood. He was a member of the Sherwood Volunteer Fire Department for approximately 25 years. He was employed as a miner at the former Franklin Industrial Minerals Company before becoming disabled. Mr. Shetters enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, and the dirt track races in Winchester. He will be remembered as a loving and caring son, husband, brother, and father. In addition to his father, Mr. Shetters was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Brittany Shetters. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Shetters, mother, Sue Shetters, brother, James “Punkin” (Boogie Perry) Shetters, children; Edward Wallace, James Wallace and Haley Wallace, sister-in-law, Michelle Sanders, all of Sherwood, Tenn., and several special brothers. Visitation for Mr. Shetters will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Epipany Mission Episcopal Church in Sherwood. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the Church with Bro. Jack Nance, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery in Sherwood.
