William Lynn January 4 1942 February 6 2019

William Edward Lynn, 77, Topeka, Kansas, passed away from lung cancer Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the House at Midland Care. Bill was born January 4, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Russell and Nora Davies Lynn. He graduated from Emporia High School and served our country in the U.S. Navy. He had a 38 year career in telecommunications beginning with Western Electric, many years with Southwestern Bell and retired from AT&T in 2002. During that time he worked in various positions from installations in offices and then homes to serving as a central office technician. Bill married Pamela Engleman and they enjoyed 41 years together; she survives. They liked their winter trips to Colorado, snow skiing with friends as well as summer trips there for the beautiful scenery and antique shopping. Bill was a car guy and was a member and past president of the Corvette Club. His retirement pastimes included being an antique dealer and working auctions and estate sales. Bill enjoyed picking on family members and friends and making people laugh. Burial will be private. Those who loved Bill will celebrate his life each day. Memorial contributions are suggested to Midland Care Hospice, sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS. Please leave a memory of your good times with Bill.
