Vickie D. Morgan Huntington, 60, of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Clarksburg on June 9, 1958 a daughter of the late Charles N. and Luella A. Hustead Morgan. Vickie married Charles Huntinton, who survives her. Cherishing their fond memories of Vickie are two children: Angelee Houston Jarrett and husband, Jason, of Lost Creek, and Leland Woodyard and companion, Ginger Williams, of Jane Lew; and one grandchild, Lela June Woodyard. In addition to her parents, one brother, Robert G. Morgan was waiting for Vickie at Heaven’s Gates. Vickie’s large heart was apparent because she loved caring for others. She worked as CNA at Wishing Well Manor, the Senior Centers in Lewis, Marion, and Harrison Counties, Summitt Center, and Crestview Manor. Her kindness paid off because when she became disabled, Crestview Manor returned the compassionate care she had shared with others. You could often find Vickie curled with a hot cup of coffee and a good book. She also enjoyed gardening. While she loved her work and leisure activities, she lived for her family. Spending time with her children and grandchild were the moments Vickie cherished most. Vickie’s request for cremation has been honored and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to the Pat Boyle Funeral Home located at PO Box 569 in Jane Lew to help with final expenses. The Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored and privileged to serve the family of Vickie D. Morgan Huntington. Online condolences may be expressed at www.PatBoyleFuneralHome.com.
