Thomas’ Obituary Racine – Thomas Otwaska, age 73, passed away on February 26, 2019 at Ascension-All Saints Hospital. Tom was born in Racine, WI on July 31, 1945 to Edward & Virginia Otwaska. He married Linda M. Steffen on December 9, 1967 and together they had 4 children – Timothy, Daniel, Lori, & Lisa. Tom was a machinist for several years at J.I. Case Company and retired in 1995. Before working for J.I. Case, he was a machinist at Rajo Motors. He loved fishing in Canada and vacationing in Florida. Tom will always be remembered as a loving father by his children, and “King of Fun” by his grandchildren. Friends will remember him for his sense of humor and his love of shopping. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Linda; two sons, Tim (Sonya) Otwaska & Daniel (Nicole) Otwaska; two daughters, Lori Dahlstrom (Floyd Green) and Lisa Sharkozy; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; other family members include his brother, John (Kathy) Otwaska and sister, Susan (Jim) Phipps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Virginia; brothers Edward (Butch), Terry, and Michael; sister, Mary; and a grandson, Kai Otwaska. Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Racine Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1810 Durand Avenue, Racine, WI 53403. Funeral services will be at 1 pm, officiated by Pastor Nelson Boon. Burial will immediately follow at the Raymond Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Celebration of Life will follow the burial at the Friends and Family Community Center, 18209 2 Mile Road, Franksville, WI 53126. Read More
