Susan “Sue” McQuay August 25, 1952 – February 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Susan “Sue” McQuay, 66 of Jonesboro passed from this life February 18, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Sue was born August 25, 1952 to Ward and Margaret Sullivan Agan in Montrose, California. She was a retired special education administrator who had worked with many school districts in Northeast Arkansas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed scrapbooking, making picture collages, and taking her family to the beach. Sue was of the Methodist belief. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Survivors include her husband, Dennis McQuay; son, Michael Gray and his fiancée Beth Snow of Jonesboro; daughter, Amy Caines of Jonesboro; 3 grandchildren, Abigail Gray, Will Ivey, and Ben Ivey. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Harmony Gardens in Jonesboro on March 2nd at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of her grandchildren to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or A-State Forensics & Debate, c/o ASU System Foundation.
