Fort Lawn, SC Mr. Stewart Grant Jessie, 88, died Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Prisma Health in Richland, SC. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM , Sunday February 24, 2019 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Michael Shannon Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM Sunday February 24, 2019 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Mr. Jessie was born June 23, 1930 in Mingo County, West Virginia and was a son of the late Miles Jessie and Dora Brundell Jessie. He attended the schools of Beech Creek West Virginia and was retired from Norfolk/Southern Railroad as an track construction Forman. Mr. Jessie was a veteran of the U.S. Marine’s having served in the Korean War. He was a member of Fort Lawn Church of God. He is survived by ; four sons Stewart Chris Jessie ( Cathy) of Fort Lawn, SC, Daniel Curtis Jessie of Edgemore, SC, Timothy James Jessie ( Cindy) of Fort Lawn, SC, Christopher Scott Jessie of Fort Lawn, SC; two granddaughters, Hannah Nicole Priest of Chesterfield BreeAnn Nicole Edward of Fort Lawn, SC; two grandsons Christopher Grant Jesse of Fort Lawn , SC and Joshua Logan Jessie of Edgemoor, SC; two great-grandchildren Eliana Priest of Chesterfield, SC and Mckinley Faith Walls of Fort Lawn, SC.
