Salvador’s Obituary Salvador Gonzalez Jr., 52, of Battle Creek, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He was born on January 18, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Salvador and Virginia (DeLos Santos) Gonzalez. Salvador attended Southwestern Junior High School and Battle Creek Central High School. As a young boy he raced BMX bikes and played floor hockey. Salvador was a three-time state champion wrestler. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years. He previously was employed by the Target Distribution Center and Comcast for many years. Junior loved to be with his family and friends. He was always laughing and joking no matter where he was or who he was with. Surviving Salvador is are his mother Virginia Hall, his sister Melody Needham, his daughter Nicole Gonzalez and his son Jason Gonzalez. He also leaves his grandson Cameron Dishman and granddaughters Selena Gonzalez and Emmalee Dishman. He was preceded in death by his brother Roberto Gonzalez and his grandmother Refujia DeLos Santos.
