Ms. Ruby Bohanon Clifft passed away from this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tennessee. A native of Hardeman County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ira Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Bohanon. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas “Buddy” Bohanon. On July 1, 1956, she was united in marriage to Jack Clifft, who preceded her in death on October 19, 1982. She was Baptist in faith. Ms. Clifft worked in the legal business her entire life, being the Federal Deputy Court Clerk while living in Jackson, Tennessee, and after returning to Hardman for County in 1978, she worked as a legal secretary before becoming the Family Service Officer in Juvenile Court where she worked helping children. Ms. Clifft had many talents in which she would spend her leisure time, including sewing, painting, crafts and designing floral arrangements. Her favorite past time was spoiling her grandchildren. Ms. Clifft leaves behind a daughter, Cecilia “CC” Hadley and her husband Steve, Bolivar, and three grandchildren, Jacy Wilson, Galveston, Texas, Jack Wilson, Memphis, Tennessee and Jake Wilson, Bolivar, Tennessee.
