Ronald “Ron”‘s Obituary Ronald Raymond Schulz, 62 Ronald “Ron” Schulz of Lakeland, Florida passed away February 12, 2019 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born January 18, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ronald F. and Eileen E. (Cherry) Schulz. He has been a resident of the area for 30 years coming from Indiana. He was an Umpire and of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Ron loved to build model ships, he played basketball and ran track in school, he drove a truck for 30 years, enjoyed spending time with Lori and their weekly date night. He was a great jokester, a dedicated umpire and a great little league volunteer. He is preceded in death by his grandchild Logan. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Lorraine Schulz, daughter Erin Pollack and husband Chuck of St. Mary’s, GA, sons Chris Schulz and wife Jennifer of Lakeland, FL, Tim Schulz of Bartow, FL, sisters Pat Goza and husband Mike of Dunedin, FL, Kathleen Maas-Ware of Pinellas Park, FL, brother Shawn Schulz and wife Jeannie of Clearwater, FL, 5 grandchildren Christopher, Haley, Kathleen, Jordan, Jeremy and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until the funeral service at 7:00PM Monday, February 18, 2019 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Read More
