Robert Lee White of Murfreesboro, NC departed this life on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC. A native of Gstes Co., NC he was born on May 31, 1942 to the late Andrew White and Rosa Pruden White. He retired from Newport News Shipyard as a pipe fitter. He was a member of First Baptist Gates Church were he served as a Deacon. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Lillie Owens White of Murfreesboro, NC; (2) daughters, Juanita White and Robin White both of Elizabeth City, NC; (1) son, Justin R. White of Elizabeth City, NC; (1) sister, Clarise Smith of Gates, NC; (1) brother, Sam O. White of Boca Raton, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
