Richard Ryan, 76, a longtime resident of Hastings-on-Hudson passed away on February 15, 2019. Richie enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was loved by all that knew him. He was his happiest at the Lake House when it was overflowing with his grandchildren. Richie will be remembered for his story telling and his infectious laugh that lit up the room. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen, children Christopher (Cathy), Richard (Isabel), Jen (Brian) Lepore, Scott (Joann) and Sean (Tina), grandchildren Kyle, Kate, Lauren, Richard, Olivia, Paige, Jack, Mia, Daniel, Brendan and Brooke. Richard is also survived by his two sisters Maureen Ryan from Estero, FL and Terri Peace from Waterford, NY. He was predeceased by his father Richard from County Kilkenny, Ireland, mother Anna from County Cavan, Ireland and sister Helen Morrissey. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , Attn: Donations, 121 Executive Dr, New Windsor, NY 12553 or to the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10468.
