Richard Lauck October 05, 1951 – February 26, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Richard Lauck, 67, of Salem passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the family farm. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 2 at Christ Lutheran Church in Salem. Visitation with family present will begin on Friday at 5 pm with a 7 pm prayer service at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem. Richard Allen Lauck was born October 5, 1951 in Sioux Falls, SD to Robert and Dorothy (Drost) Lauck. He attended country school in the Salem area and graduated from Salem High School in 1969. He married Loretta Parmley on February 5, 1972 at the Presbyterian Church in Parker and they went on to farm and milk cows on the family farm near Salem. Richard also worked at the Salem Lumber Yard until 1984. He retired from milking in October of 2017 and continued to farm. Richard loved restoring antique tractors, fishing, and showing off his Brown Swiss at shows. He was an avid IH lover and liked to show his collectible tractors and Model A truck. Playing with grandkids was one of his favorite things to do also. Richard is survived by: his wife, Loretta of Salem; children, Mark (Kat) of Salem, Kay (Curt) Luitjens of Brewster, MN, Adam (Peggy) of Salem and Jenni (Scott) Klitzke of Salem; ten grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Lauck; siblings, Ken (Theresa) of Salem, Ron (Rose) of Corsica, Patti (Jeff) Deters of Salem, Doug (Angie) of Mitchell, Brian of Yankton and Darrin (Lesley) of Eau Claire, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
