Oella H. Edgecomb, 97, North Manchester, Indiana and formerly of Laketon, Indiana passed away February 8, 2019 at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, Indiana. Oella was born September 29, 1921 in Pratt County, Kansas to Floyd and Lottie (Gish) Barton. On September 29, 1940, she married Paul S. Edgecomb and was a homemaker. He passed away November 9, 2002. Oella will be remembered by three sons, Jim Edgecomb, North Manchester, Steve (Lynette) Edgecomb, West Alexandria, Ohio, and Ron (Kimra) Edgecomb, North Manchester; two daughters Donna (Lelland) Davison, Garnett, Kansas, and Marge (Ray) Brubaker, North Manchester; one brother Merlin Barton, Pomona, Kansas; two sisters Fern Brooks, Eldorado, Ohio, and Nina (Chester) Flora, Rossville, Ohio; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call Monday, February 11, 2019 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 12546 N. State Road 13, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester. The home brethren will officiate and burial will be held at the Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, 12546 N. State Road 13, North Manchester. Arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary.
