Norman Sage November 29 1926 February 14 2019

Norman Sage, 92, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on Friday, February 15th, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 57 years Linda, his children Joanne Sage, Adam and Ellen Sage, and Robyn and Adam Cohen, as well as his three grandchildren Reyna, Hannah, and Aaron. Born on 29th of November 1996, he grew up in New York City, graduating high school early to join the Navy at 17, serving for two years and then graduating from New York University. After college, he joined the family business before moving to Stamford and opening up his own company Exteriors by Sage, then finally retiring and moving to Sarasota in 1993. Norman’s life was that of love: love of talking, of stories, of Louis Armstrong, of his wife Linda with whom he had the most wondrous marriage, of his three children and especially his three grandchildren, of whom he could not have been more proud. His aim in life was making people happy, even keeping track of how often he made others laugh. He will be missed immensely, but live on in all those who loved him. Donations in his honor can be made to Tidewell Hospice, Chabbad of Sarasota, or the charity of your choosing.
