Nora Elizabeth Ingalls 2019

Nora Elizabeth Ingalls, 91 of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. Elizabeth was born on April 16, 1927 in Campton, Kentucky; the daughter of the late Mack and Etta (Hobbs) Perry. Elizabeth was a homemaker and mom who was a Cub Scout den mother and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Le Roy, Illinois. She had attended Elmira United Presbyterian Church in Elmira, Illinois and the Toulon United Methodist Church in Toulon, Illinois. Elizabeth will be remembered for putting others needs before her own, her kind heart and all the special times she shared with her family and friends. Elizabeth is survived by and will be missed by her husband; John E. Ingalls, whom she married on April 6, 1947; her sons, John (Blenda) Ingalls of Red Bud, Illinois, Gerald Ingalls of Alton, Illinois, Marlin Ingalls of Iowa City, Iowa; grandchildren, Sarah Ingalls of Shiloh, Illinois, John Ingalls of Reston, Virginia; sister, Gladys St. John of Portland, Oregon. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her 5 sisters and 2 brothers. In celebration of Elizabeth’s life, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:15 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with Chaplain Brad Thomas officiating.
