MaryAnn Lazarz, 65 passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Hillcrest Commons Nursing Home in Pittsfield. Born August 22, 1953, daughter of the late Stanley and Rose (Johnson) Lazarz, she was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Class of 1971. MaryAnn’s passions were shopping acquiring collectibles, playing bingo, reading, enjoying good food, nice clothing, and visiting with her cousin and caregiver, Nancy Kellum. She is survived by many cousins in MA, MN and FL. Her family would like to thank the nurses and CNAs at Hillcrest Commons and Hospice Care of the Berkshires for their kind and tender care and support of MaryAnn. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday at 1PM in the chapel of St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 800 Montgomery St., Chicopee, for MaryAnn’s committal service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
