Mary’s Obituary Mary Frances Farabough, 88, passed away on February 8, 2019. She was born on March 17, 1930, to Thomas Edgar and Winnie Cora (Calahan) Farabough of Dumas. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Cecil Edward, Thomas Eugene and David Alan Farabough. She was a lifelong resident of Dumas, Arkansas and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dumas. In 2002, she published a book Memories of Dumas that was a collection of local history and stories. Ms. Farabough is survived by four nephews Ed (Coleen) Farabough of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jim (Norma) Farabough of Laredo, Texas, Phillip (Robbie) Farabough of Reeds Spring, Missouri and Davey (Jeri) Farabough of Dumas, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Farabough, of Gould; and eight great nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas on Wednesday, February 13 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating. She will be buried at Walnut Lake Cemetery in Dumas.
