Mary was born on Tuesday, January 14, 1936, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Louie and Vicy Collins Skimahorn. Mary was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. She is a former member of the Shannon Baptist Church, in Pocahontas. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Vicy Collins Skimahorn; husband, Richard Davies; brothers, Otis, Charlie, Louie Jr., Jim, and Alan Ray Skimahorn; and sister, Vicky Skimahorn. Mary is survived by her son, Rick (Julie) Davies, of Oak Harbor, Washington; daughter, Phyllis (Rick) Sears, of Rensselaer, Indiana; three brothers, Loyd Skimahorn, Bill (Francis) Skimahorn, and Roger Skimahorn; three sisters, Jewel Louis, Louise Hipp, and Ruth (Jim) Pardon; grandchildren, Jenny Davies, of Oak Harbor, Washington, Bethany Davies, of Spokane, Washington, Tim Davies, of Oak Harbor, Washington, Shanna Davies, of Yakima, Washington, Richard Sears, of Demotte, Indiana, and Rachel Kelly, of Lafayette, Indiana; great grandchildren, Alexander, Tessa, Breanna, and Ana Sears, all of Demotte, Indiana. All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Mary’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 2:00 pm; Larry Rogers and Michael Freeman, officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
