Marlin’s Obituary Marlin Bingham, 47, of Topeka passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2019. He was born April 21, 1971 in Topeka the son of Kenneth Marlin and Betty Jo Fitzgerald Bingham. Marlin attended and graduated from Washburn Rural High School. He worked for USD 501 Auburn Washburn #437 and the state of Kansas. Marlin served in the Kansas National Guard for eight years as part of the 714 Maintenance Company. He enjoyed monster trucks, four-wheeling and motorcycles. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his dad, Kenneth Bingham of Topeka; half-brothers, Vincent Blocker of Tulsa, OK; aunts, Carolyn Ralph and Evelyn Barngrover both of Topeka; nieces, Kacy Brooks and Jana Ingalsbe; nephews, Brian Blocker and Andrew Blocker. Marlin was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo and a half-sister, Katherine Brooks. Funeral services will be held at Davidson Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 25, 2019. Interment will follow at Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Monday afternoon at the funeral home prior to the service.
