Marilyn (Epps) Cravens 76 of Litchfield passed away Thursday Feb. 21, 2019 at 10:31 AM at Heritage Manor in Litchfield. She was born in Litchfield IL on Dec. 24, 1942 to Albert Charles and Claudie May (Card) Epps. She married Elmer William Cravens on June 13, 1959. She worked at Echlin Brake parts in Litchfield, Carlinville Senior center and Barry care center; she was a member of Reno and Sorrento Baptist Churches and VFW #5790 Ladies Auxiliary of Mt. Olive She is survived by two sons Donald W. Cravens of Calvert City KY and Gene Allen Cravens of Mt. Olive Il and two daughters Jana Hausmann of Gillespie and Lisa Deavers of Litchfield IL, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Elmer, brothers John “Tom” Epps, Raymond Epps, Franklin Epps and infant Albert Epps, sisters Edna Turley, Martha Davis, Doris Zumwalt, Grace Copples and infant Ruth Ann Epps. Funeral services will be Monday Feb. 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Lynn Brown Officiating; visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Cress Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials can be directed to the family.
