Margie’s Obituary Margie Faye Stewart, 77, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Stewart was born October 28, 1941 in Richmond County, the daughter of the late Thurman Lewis and Beulah Mae Greer Taylor. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from Sara Lee Hosiery after over 40 years of service. Surviving are her husband, Ted C. Stewart of Bolivia, NC; brothers, Glenn Taylor of Rockingham, Dean Taylor of Rockingham, Raymond Taylor of Hamlet and James Taylor of Rockingham and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday at Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Childers officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church, 573 Battley Dairy Rd., Hamlet, NC 28345. Read More
