Obituary for Margaret L. Folts Print Margaret L. Folts, of Springville, died Friday February 22, 2019 in Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, Springville at the age of 93. She was born January 7, 1926 in Buffalo, New York a daughter of the late John and Louise (nee Hofmann) Maier. She had worked in the cafeteria of the Springville Elementary School. She was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church where she had taught Sunday School and was in the Ladies Aid. She had also worked at the Springville nutrition site. On October 12, 1946 she married Norman Everts, he passed away in 1992. On May 19, 1994 she married Millard R. Folts, he passed away June 2, 2012. She is survived by her children – Linda M. (Kenneth) Hurd of Limestone, Susan (Clyde) Drake of Springville, Gary Everts of Nunda, Linda J. (Howard) Lux of Randolph; sisters – Bettina Lohrey of Springville, Anna (William) Hinton of Great Valley; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother-in-law – Romaine Lohrey and a granddaughter. Friends may call Monday February 25, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 11 am in Salem Lutheran Church, 91 W. Main St., Springville. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Springville.
