Letha’s Obituary Letha Phillips Williams, age 94, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at home. She was born on October 30, 1925, in Robeson County to the late Robert Phillips and the late Agnes Davis Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Williams, and a daughter, Helen Ruth Williams. She is survived by two sons, Lacy Williams and Robert Williams, both of Lumberton; one daughter, Rebecca McCray of Lumberton; six grandchildren: Steven and wife Shannon, Dustin and wife Kelsey, Brad, Zachary, Pamela, and Lori; and two great-grandchildren, Seth and Luke. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Kingdom Place in Lumberton. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Gary Strickland and Rev. Bailey Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
