Leroy Hooker of Winterville, NC departed this life on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Ahoskie Assisted Living Nursing Home. A native of Pitt Co., NC he was born on June 15, 1937. He retired from East Carolina University as a Custodian. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Sarah Spann Hooker of Winterville, NC; daughter, Angelique Parker of Winterville, NC; son, James Earl Parker (Kathy) of McDonald, GA; grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
