Lena Ruth Lee August 08, 1934 – February 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Lena Ruth Lee, age 84 of Excel, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at The Cedars at Englewood Health Care Facility. Mrs. Lee was born in Brewton, Alabama and had been a resident of Monroe County since October 1974. She was a member of Excel Baptist Church and had worked with Burns and Burns, PC as a tax preparer. Mrs. Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Bartlett and Ida Lilly Lee Bartlett; her sister, Magalene Etheridge; and her daughter, Rose Lee. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth M. Lee of Excel, AL; one son Gary Lee and wife Debbie of Monroeville, AL; two daughters, Gloria Wyatt and husband Ken of Semmes, AL and Pam Seales and husband Gary of Excel, AL; one sister, Lynn Jensen of Gulf Breeze, FL; five grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Excel Baptist Church with Dr. Shannon Moses officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Assembly Cemetery in Wildfork. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Please share your condolences online by signing Mrs. Lee’s guestbook.
