Larry J. Tippett, 59, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. His family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 12-2pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral will begin at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Roger Bonds officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was a member of the IBEW Local 558. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, James and Kathryn Tippett; and sister, Sherry Tippett. He is survived by his wife, Trisha Fisher Tippett; daughters, Emily Thorne (Jacob), Sarah Tippett (Sebastian), Shelby Ferguson (Charles); son, Dillon Mills; grandchildren, Easton and Annabelle Thorne, and Hayden Tippett; brothers, Randy, Ronnie (Laura), Mark (Tanszy), and Tim (Donna); and sister, Debbie Austin (Phillip). Pallbearers will be Jacob Thorne, Drew Thigpen, Daryl Hester, Chris Rikard, Stacey Sockwell, and Chris Austin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Tippett, Ronnie Tippett, Mark Tippett, Tim Tippett, Austin Tippett, Carson Tippett, Easton Hodges, and Hayden Tippett.
