Obituary Service Details Kurt Allen Vogt departed life in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 2, 2019 at the age of 53. Kurt was preceded in death by both of his parents, Ralph and Theresa (Cooper) Vogt. Kurt will be forever remembered by his daughter, Nevaeh Vogt. He is survived by his 5 siblings; Debra (John) Howell, Keith (Janice) Vogt, Dwayne (Anita) Vogt; Denise (Matthew) Petty and Kevin Vogt. Kurt will be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews as well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Kurt was born January 2, 1966 in Midwest City, OK. He lived in Trenton, Il; Grandview, MO and Fairview Heights, IL prior to moving to Colorado Springs in 1985. As a young man, Kurt was active in sports, camping and fishing. He was an avid football fan forever cheering on the Denver Broncos and he was a loyal watcher of all NASCAR Races. Kurt was skilled as an Auto Mechanic, Demolition Expert and Heavy Equipment Operator. Kurt also cherished his time with his daughter, family and friends. Kurt was often named the “Life of the Party.” Kurt loved to make people laugh and it was in his nature to start conversations with anyone who crossed his path.
