Obituary Kathy Lynn Harper, 59, Gainesville, FL, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Born April 17, 1959, in Huntington, WV., the daughter of the late Lindsey Cole Jr. and Georgia Marie Powell Cole. Kathy retired after 32 years of service from the VA Medical Center. Her joy in life came from spending time traveling with her husband, watching baseball and college football with family, and making memories with her grandchildren.
